BCT ACQUIRES MHCS
Polands Baltic Container Terminal, which is operated by ICTSI, has placed an order with Kalmar for four mobile harbour cranes.
Initially, stevedoring services will be provided by Generale de Manutencion Portuaire (GMP), which is a joint-venture between CMA CGM and P&O Ports, at its Terminal de France, where it holds a 36-year concession.
These should help boost capacity to 750,000 TEUs/year. In 2005, the terminal reported 6% growth to 395,757TEU.
