It will be capable of handling 9m tonnes of cargo annually, although this will be extended to 15m tonnes depending on demand.

ABP is spending a further £15m in new plant and equipment for Humber International Terminal, Phase 2, currently under construction at Immingham. This is in addition to the £44.5m project spend on the extension of the port’s deepwater coal-handling facility. A second stacker reclaimer and ancillary equipment for the terminal is to be procured.
