APMT injury and CO2 wins
APM Terminals’ 2011 Sustainability Report reveals a 21% decrease in Lost Time Injury Frequency, and a 16.5% per teu reduction in CO2 emissions, but admits there is still much to be done.
The APM Terminals’ goal for 2012 is a further 15% reduction in the LTIF rate and a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions per teu by 2020 for all terminal operations, as measured against a 2010 baseline.
