Head of APDL resigns in protest
The president of the Douro and Leixoes Port Authority (APDL), Matos Fernandes, has resigned his post, citing his deep regret in respect of an absence of decision-making from other companies in the industry.
He said that a lack of decision-making, which is interpreted as an illusion to government policy, was highly unreasonable and had prompted his decision to leave.
