Haulage drivers end crippling strike at Bilbao
The strike by self-employed road hauliers which has been ongoing at the port of Bilbao since November 5 has been called off.
The dispute arose as a means of exerting leverage on commercial transport companies to sign labour contracts or professional agreements involving the drivers.
Previously, other drivers at ports around Spain had threatened to join the campaign and convene their own strikes.
