Bulgarian terminal finance
The Japan Bank for International Cooperation has agreed to a loan of ¢ 238m ($364.4m) to finance the construction of two terminals at the ports of Bourgas and Varna. Construction will be completed by 2015.
The plug was introduced on January 23 and was, in part, the result of transport strikes earlier this year and higher than normal volumes passing through the terminal. A customs go-slow and unseasonal high winds further exacerbated the problems.
