Gulftainer takes on Turkish challenge
Gulftainer has made good on its international expansion promises with a deal with Turkeys Demas International.
The joint venture pact teams the Sharjah-based terminal operator with Demas’ expertise in logistics, trucking and warehousing.
The operator believes the partnership will aid its development of trucking, logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding and supply chain and inland container depot businesses in Turkey and in the wider region.
Gulftainer director and general manager Peter Richards said: “We are very excited about this latest development with Demas in a part of the world that is not only expanding rapidly but also shares close ties with our home base in the UAE.”
This marks Gulftainer’s fourth overseas project, adding to those in Kuwait, Pakistan and the Comoros Islands.
