Hamburg infrastructure upgrades needed

A plan drawn up for the Port of Hamburg forecasts it will be handling 25.3m teu by 2025, 181% higher than the 9m teu handled in 2011.

To achieve this, a number of infrastructure upgrades will be necessary, among which is the dredging of the Elbe River.
