The Western Australia State Government has announced a major port facility will be built at Lumsden Point near Port Hedland.
It will provide infrastructure to service the oil and gas, resources, defence, housing and construction industries, backing up massive energy projects such as Gorgon, Wheatstone and Browse which will be needing maintenance and repair facilities for more than 30 years.
