Hutchison Whampoa Limited, the parent company of Hutchison Port Holdings, has begun marketing the sale of $3bn in bonds.

Denominated in US dollars, these will be issued for periods of six years and 10 years respectively.The former will be worth $2bn and the latter $1bn. Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank and HSBC Holdings are managing the sale. Hutchison also raised $1.5bn in April in bonds that are due to mature in 2019.
