Kalmar introduces new value range in APAC

The ‘Essential’ range is based on the company’s G-generation platform, while Kalmar has also introduced a new TL2 terminal tractor for APAC customers.

Peter McLean, senior vice president at Kalmar APAC, said: “Both are based on a proven common platform, which makes servicing and troubleshooting easier and ensures that parts are readily available. It’s also easier for drivers to switch between different machine types thanks to the common operator interface and controls.”

Four reachstackers

There are four reachstacker models in the range with lifting capacities ranging from 45-57t. These machines can be delivered with a spreader or hook.

The models come with a choice of three efficient driveline combinations and either EU3/Tier 3 or Tier 4/EU 4F emissions standards compliant engines.

The Kalmar Essential range of empty container handlers offers a choice of 8, 9 or 10t lifting capacity, four different mast heights, each with different stacking capabilities, and three driveline combinations and emissions standards compliant engines.

Load sensing incorported

All reachstackers and empty container handlers come fitted with a load sensing hydraulic system.

The Essential range of forklifts comprises 12 models, with capacities ranging from 10-18t.

All new Kalmar machines are compatible with Kalmar SmartFleet, an equipment monitoring and optimisation tool that makes it easy to analyse performance data to improve efficiency and productivity.
