KOPER ORDERS UP SSG
Konecranes VLC Corporation has received an order for a Panamax dimension ship-to-shore gantry from the Luka Container Terminal at the Port of Koper.
ESC’s gate technologies will be deployed for the inbound and outbound security gates at Global Terminal and Container Services, Inc. in Jersey City and at New York Container Terminal (NYCT), formerly Howland Hook Container Terminal, on Staten Island.
The new unit, featuring an outreach of 37 metres and lifting capacity of 45 tons, will go into service with three existing ship-toshore gantries at the terminal. Konecranes’ own AC drive system, motors and mechanical components will be fitted.
