Maersk Line signs to GPA

The world’s largest container liner Maersk has signed a 20-year agreement with Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), with the inclusion of a 10-year renewal option to allow for growth in container volume. The Port of Savannah has committed $700m to boosting container capacity, with new container berths, increases to container storage areas and equipment additions over a 10-year period.
