Involved in the syndicate are Banco Sabadell, Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, Fortis Bank, HSBC Bank, Santander and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, although a total of 22 financial institutions participated in the operation.

Naples Port Authority has awarded three new concessions. The incumbent container-handling stevedore Conateco assumes control of the new box terminal on Bausan quay for three decades. Flavio Gioia Spa has been granted a 30-year concession to manage a multipurpose terminal on Flavio Gioia quay, leaving Traghetti Naploi Srl to take over the new terminal on Immacolatella Vecchia quay which will deal in shortsea shipping and “sea motorway” traffic.
