Phoenix Lighting introduces SturdiSignal Series

With little maintenance or lamp replacement, the LED warning signal is expected to offer a new level of simplicity and safety to terminals. The SturdiSignal Series fits any port applications, including container cranes, bulk handling equipment and mobile equipment.

In partnership with Phoenix Terminal Solutions, Phoenix Lighting said it had applied its ‘Durability by Design’ philosophy to this lighting application.

Incorporating market feedback with LED design expertise, Phoenix believes it has created a reliable warning signal light capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of day-to-day terminal operations. Even in harsh conditions, the SturdiSignal Series comes with a five-year warranty.

LEDs are one of today’s most energy-efficient lighting technologies, supporting the many green initiatives underway at ports across the world. As well as environmental benefits, maintenance expenses, downtime and safety hazards are reduced.

Phoenix first installed LED floodlights in 2011 at the Port of Los Angeles, and has since claims to have become the industry leader in LED lighting for container and bulk handling cranes and equipment.
