The digital twin technology, developed in conjunction with consultants Moffat & Nichol, calculates the most efficient methods for processing the offshore wind equipment.

According to Dennis Jul Pedersen, CEO, Port Esbjerg, it will facilitate raising the port’s annual shipping capacity for offshore wind installations from 1.5 GW to 4.5 GW by 2025 with no physical expansion involved.
