The British Ports Association has outlined its new agenda for UK ports with a vision incorporating an expansion of the recently launched freeports policy. In addition, it identifi es business rates relief and enhanced capital allowances, with prioritised funding for port connectivity as desirable. A closer working relationship with the UK government for the exploitation of ports is also desirable.
