Kalmar will supply nine low-emission tractors to Onorato Armatori Group for use at its Livorno and Catania terminals.

Seven of the heavy-duty TR618i terminal tractors will be used to load and unload wheeled cargo from ro-ro vessels at the Italian shipping operator's Livorno Terminal Marittimo (LTM), while the remaining two will be used for the same purpose at its CPS terminal in Catania.
Kalmar equipment maintenance services are already in place at LTM and CPS and Matteo Savelli, LTM chief executive, said: "Kalmar was the natural choice for us when renewing our terminal tractor fleet because of the excellent working relationship we have built up over many years of partnership."
Kalmar's heavy-duty TR618i terminal tractors are designed for durability, visibility and operator comfort to meet the challenges of moving heavy loads quickly and efficiently.
TR618i's engine technology minimises emissions, while several safety-related features are also included in the machine.
Delivery of the order is due to take place during the second quarter of 2018.
The Onorato Armatori Group is the parent company of the Moby, Tirrenia-CIN and Toremar and Moby SPL shipping lines and has operations in Italy, France and Malta.
