Tailwind Shipping boss joins Coastlink
Alexander Prahl, head of sales and contracting trade management at Tailwind Shipping Lines, will be joining the Shipper’s Perspective panel at the upcoming Coastlink 2025 Conference.
The event will take place on 29-30 April 2025 at the Port of Bilbao, hosted at the iconic Itsasmuseum (maritime museum).
Alexander Prahl will be joining other industry leaders, including representatives from IKEA, DFDS and the Port of Bilbao, to discuss crucial topics such as greening the value chain and developing sustainable multimodal logistics networks.
Tailwind Shipping Lines, founded in July 2022 as a subsidiary of Lidl Stiftung & Co., is known for operating smaller cargo ships on efficient routes with minimal port calls, ensuring fast and reliable transit between China, Bangladesh and Europe. Its focus on less busy ports and streamlined operations allows for quick turnaround times, benefiting both Lidl and third-party goods.
Coastlink 2025, chaired by Nick Lambert of NLA International, will feature a diverse lineup of expert speakers and thought leaders from across the short sea shipping and ports sectors.
Key themes for the conference include growth demand, route expansion and the urgent need for greener, more sustainable logistics solutions.
