Under the theme of ‘Managing risk – building resilience – unlocking opportunities’ keynote speakers will discuss a wide variety of pressing topics.

With more than 700 delegates expected, the conference provides an unprecedented opportunity to network with other port leaders and maritime stakeholders.

The comprehensive agenda includes talks on combatting illicit trade, supply chain resilience, ports as community builders, sustainability in the cruise industry, alternative fuels and net zero, and cybersecurity and how to harness AI.

The IAPH2024 Sustainability Awards will be held during the Gala dinner on 9 October where more than 70 entries from over 50 ports will be competing for one of six awards recognising high-quality port-sustainability endeavours.

Various excursions will also be taking place during the conference including a tour of the Port of Hamburg, and visits to the HafenCity Cruise Terminal and OPS Container Terminal HHLA.
