Partnerships a focus of GreenPort Congress America

Delegates at the conference will be able to find out the stakeholders’ perspective on how ports can build partnerships, learn how key port stakeholders perceive ports, their reaction to the ports’ changes and how ports can improve relationships with stakeholders.

Held between 16-18^th May at the Helen Delich Bentley Port of Baltimore, the conference will also provide opportunities to hear how the ports of Tacoma and Seattle have worked with their sister ports, Kitakyushu and Kobe, to develop their environmental practices; and learn how dredging technology and techniques are advancing, becoming more sustainable and further enhancing ports and their environmental credentials.

Speakers from across the region and the rest of the world will share their knowledge in 17 presentations, streams and plenary sessions.

Keynote presentations will be given by Raymond Fitzgerald, chief operating officer of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions and chairman of American Roll-On Roll-Off Carriers and Patrick Verhoeven, managing director, policy & strategy, International Association of Ports and Harbors. An interactive session at the end of the event will bring together all topics discussed.

A choice of five technical visits also means delegates will have the opportunity to view first-hand how Helen Delich Bentley Port of Baltimore achieved its green status.
