Rotterdam Shortsea Terminals (RST) is looking to source new cranes from Europe due to cost increases elsewhere. The operator has explained that it has seen the price of cranes manufactured in China rise by 40 per cent since 2018, meaning that quotes from Dutch and other European-based manufacturers are being sought. RST provides feeder ship and inland waterway services from the Port of Rotterdam to European ports and terminals.
