Green Ports and Climate Resilience Consultant, Haskoning

Ingrid Lambert

Ingrid Lambert is a Green Ports and Climate Resilience Consultant at Haskoning, working internationally with port authorities and terminal operators to understand and manage their climate risks and build long-term resilience. Her expertise includes physical climate and transition risk assessments, and strategy development spanning climate adaptation, decarbonisation, and port readiness for alternative fuel handling.

She integrates climate risk and adaptation principles into port planning and leads port-related CCRAs for clients including MDBs, port authorities, terminal operators, and solution brokers. Ingrid holds a master’s degree in Port and Coastal Engineering, and brings a systems-based, interdisciplinary perspective, linking technical engineering and risk analysis with policy, environmental and socio-economic contexts. She translates complex climate challenges into actionable solutions, supported by clear risk and adaptation narratives for diverse stakeholders.

In addition to her consultancy role, Ingrid is a Young Professional representative in PIANC’s Permanent Task Group on Climate Change. She also represents Haskoning as knowledge partner in the Task Force, initiated by ICSI and CDRI, to develop Resilience Indicators for Seaports.
