TYNE DOCK TAPS INTO EU FUNDING

The tender will combine BOT with concession contracts but is for all six terminals as a single contract and operators will not be able to bid for individual terminals. The tender closes on 1 September.

Port of Tyne is investing £6m on an industrial development project at Tyne Dock. Three units featuring a flexible design to accommodate the differing commercial needs of their occupiers, will be developed speculatively in two phases over a twoyear period. The site enjoys good access by sea, road, and by rail for the transportation of goods.
