Anglesey freeport gets the go-ahead

Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey

The UK and Welsh governments have given the go-ahead for a freeport on the Isle of Anglesey

An application to establish a freeport in Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales has been successful.

The Anglesey Freeport will extend 45km from Holyhead port, covering the whole Isle of Anglesey, with four zones designated as tax or customs sites.
