Felixstowe deepening works complete

Work at the Port of Felixstowe, UK to improve access for the world’s largest container ships has completed

The main approach channel and berths 8 and 9 at the Hutchison Ports-owned terminal have been deepened from 14.5 to 16 metres and 16 to 18 metres respectively.

The port has recently welcomed the 24,188 teu mega container ship, OOCL Felixstowe for the first time
