The US and Japan are strengthening ties with a new green shipping corridor

Officials from the ports of Los Angeles, US and Nagoya, Japan have signed a new memorandum of understanding to create a green shipping corridor between the two ports.

Building on an earlier agreement in 2020, the latest MoU will see the two work together on a range of initiatives including digital supply chain data sharing and zero-emission equipment testing.
