Technological advances have considerably helped ports in all spheres, and the bagging sector is no exception.

This is important to ensure continuity and accountability to our clients who are increasingly concerned over quality control and in particular the accuracy of weights within the bags.”

An important must for handling cargo is that the equipment is durable and impervious to possible damage such as corrosion. “Stainless steel is widely used within the Nectar range of equipment. Combine this with the indestructible engineering, and it is no surprise to learn that these machines have a very long life span.”

Manufactured under the RAPIDPACK brand name, IMGS' mobile bagging machines also provide reliability and flexibility. Mobile and self-contained, the bagging units are capable of operating for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Because of the machines' mobility and versatility, the usage can be customised to meet the different requirements of each client.

The IMGS bagging units can bag up to 140 metric tons per hour, with weight values ranging from 25 kg to 100 kg. The units are capable of weighing open-mouth bags, valve bags, form/fill/seal packages and IBC's. To ensure complete accuracy in weighing, all units are equipped with gravity-fed automatic net bagging weighers and industrial weighing systems.
