Busan places worlds largest cable order
The largest order in the world for the reeling cable used on high speed cranes has been won by Tratos Ltd. The Tratosflex-ESDB cable will be used in 38 ZPMC cranes at the latest Busan Port terminal in Korea.
The product has been used in many high speed container cranes across the world but this order is believed to be the largest single order for the cable in the world today.
Designed to combat the common problem of twisting that affects cables reeling at high speed, the internal cable design has been modified, tightening the structure to prevent the cable twisting.
