Eight consortia have pre-qualified for the Guaymas container terminal project in Mexico.
Those interested are the TMM group, Grúpo México, SAAM Remolques, Istasa, Sustainable Americas Port 1 and Global Business. Mexican, US and Asian companies all form part of these groups.
The terminal is expected to attract annual business of 400,000 teu, will have 320 metres of exclusive quay and an additional 575 metres of berthing area.
