Bromma has introduced a new, lighter member to its ship-to-shore spreader family.
The SSX40LW spreader has a weight of only 5.8 tonnes, making it almost three tonnes lighter than the comparable SSX40 (7.9 tonnes) telescopic ship-to-shore spreader.
The weight factor impacts on energy consumption, and offers a considerable saving since the new model uses 5.5 kW, whereas the standard SSX40 spreader power consumption is 7.5 kW
