The 2022 conference, titled ‘Green Solutions for Sustainable Ports by 2030’ will cover a range of themes including Fuel & energy provision for shipping & cruising, Green Corridors - A pathway to net zero, Powering ships in port - On-shore power supply panel discussion and Ports/Terminals: Transitioning to Clean Fuels – The key Steps. This year the opening keynote address will be from Isabelle Ryckbost, Secretary General, European Sea Ports Organisation who will set the scene and talk about Realising the green transition: how to step up speed on a bumpy road? ESPO will also be launching their Environmental Report as an exclusive at GreenPort. Additional keynotes include Capt Sameer Bhatnagar, Head of Fuel Transition & Infrastructure, A.P. Moller - Maersk discussing decarbonization - a ship operator’s perspective. Opening with keynotes on day 2 FEPORT, IAPH and Sustainable ESG will be presenting on monitoring emissions, decarbonisation of ports and the launch of GreenPort Congress Oceania.

The welcome reception for GreenPort Congress & Cruise 2022, a great networking icebreaker, will be held the night before the start of the conference in the historic Bruges Town hall, one of the oldest in the Low Countries.

Day 1 concludes with the conference dinner held at ABC-toren based at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. The conference dinner provides an opportunity to reflect on the first day of conference presentations and continue the discussion outside of the conference room.
