On 17th October, delegates will be invited to join a joint networking session bringing together all delegates across GreenPort Congress and DTF: Decarbonizing the Future. Taking place at Gardjola Gardens, Senglea (just 5 minutes from Boilers Wharf).

Gardjola Gardens, or Ġnien il-Gardjola is a historic public garden situated in Senglea, one of the Three Cities of Malta. Established in 1551 under the direction of Grand Master Claude de la Sengle, the gardens were part of a broader initiative to fortify the area during the reign of the Knights of St. John. The gardens are perched on the bastion’s tip, offering panoramic views of the Grand Harbour, Fort St. Angelo, and Valletta.

Over time, the gardens have evolved from a strategic military site to a tranquil public space. Today, visitors can enjoy the serene environment, shaded by palm trees and enhanced by well-maintained pathways and benches. The gardens serve as a peaceful retreat, offering a glimpse into Malta’s rich history and providing stunning views of the surrounding harbors and fortifications.

A perfect opportunity to see Valletta’s Grand Harbour from above and network with connections old and new and a chance to discuss the conversations and presentations heard over the past 2 days. Meet with attendees from Turkish Port Operators Association, Port of Oslo, Luka Koper, Rightship, Fjuel, Bergen Havn, Jeco Energies, Danish Ports, Port of Talinn… and more!

All delegates can attend the networking reception with their delegate pass.
