A Historic Setting for Future-Focused Networking
As GreenPort Congress brings together global leaders in sustainable port and shipping operations, it is only fitting that delegates gather in a venue that reflects both history and resilience. Fort St Angelo, perched at the tip of Birgu and commanding sweeping views of the Grand Harbour, provides the perfect backdrop for the Congress networking dinner.
Once the stronghold of the Knights of St John, Fort St Angelo has stood at the heart of Malta’s maritime heritage for centuries. Today, its restored ramparts and panoramic terraces offer a unique setting where delegates can exchange ideas, build connections, and reflect on the future of green port development. With the harbour lights glistening across the water and the fort’s timeless architecture surrounding guests, the evening will be both atmospheric and inspiring.
By hosting the dinner at Fort St Angelo, GreenPort Congress unites past and present, linking Malta’s storied naval traditions with the forward-looking innovation of sustainable shipping. It is more than a dinner; it is a celebration of collaboration, conversation, and a shared vision for greener ports worldwide.
Join us for 3 courses in Taste History. On arrival guests will be welcomed with a glass of prosecco followed by flowing wine and water served throughout the experience. The menu will be thematic and historical with chefs providing a bespoke menu as researched by their curatorial team.
For 2025, the GreenPort Congress awards will be announced during the Conference Dinner.
The conference dinner is included in your delegate pass.
