Ecoslops is an innovative cleantech that brings oil into circular economy. Their solutions have been developed to help ports manage their waste in a more efficient and environmentally friendly way. Within this year’s programme The International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) will be running two Port Endeavor workshops across the two days. Port Endeavor draws on real life examples from the 200+ strong IAPH World Ports Sustainability Program (WPSP) database of projects and best practices on how ports integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) into their business models and operations. The aim of the session is to increase awareness among port management, staff and professionals working in port communities on how ports are already applying the UN Sustainable Development Goals to their business, to ultimately accelerate adoption of these measures in the port sector.
The welcome reception for GreenPort Congress & Cruise 2023, a great networking icebreaker, will be held at Lisbon City Hall. The Town Hall is integrated into a wide square, which, including paços and pillory constitutes the ultimate symbol of municipal power.
This year the dinner will be held at Palace of Conde d’Óbidos, a strikingly historic space with a breathtaking view over the Tagus River. The conference dinner provides an opportunity to reflect on the first day of conference presentations and continue the discussion outside of the conference room.
