GreenPort Congress & Cruise 2023 kicked off on Tuesday 17th October with a welcome reception at Lisbon City Hall.
The Welcome Reception is always a networking icebreaker, which provides the perfect opportunity to consider the topics and working groups taking place during the following two days. Delegate were greeted to the classic Portuguese delicacy of Pastel de Belém, Pastel de Nata as well as Moscatel.
After an informative day of learning and networking delegates at day one of GreenPort Congress & Cruise attended the conference dinner at the Red Cross Palace, on the Rocha do Conde de Óbidos and were greeted with a packed dining room with delegates from all corners of the globe rubbing shoulders and establishing new friendships and professional contacts.
Delegates were invited to enjoy a delicious 3 course meal using the freshest ingredients and the networking dinner gave delegates the opportunity to make new connections and continue the day’s discussions in a relaxed setting.
After an uplifting welcome from Isabel Moura Ramos, Executive Board Member, Port of Lisbon Authority, delegates had the opportunity to hear from the sponsors of the dinner Galp Energy about their commitment to Net Zero.
