In exactly one week, the Coastlink 2024 conference will be opened with a welcome address from Dorine Bosman, Chief Investment Officer at the Port of Amsterdam.
As Chief Investment Officer, Bosman provides direction in boosting Amsterdam as a sustainable European seaport and in stimulating and accelerating the energy transition, circular activities and industries, to reduce CO2 emissions in the port and in the region. Within Port of Amsterdam, Bosman is responsible for infrastructure, maintenance, environmental management, innovations and commercial participations.
Dorine will highlight to delegates the ports key projects, partnerships and collaborations that support the daily operation of the fourth largest port in Northwest Europe.
Maurice Delattre, Area Manager will join the conversation during session 3 Ports As Enablers – Facilitating The Energy Transition For Shipping & The Supply Chain’.
Maurice will address how the Port of Amsterdam approaches the energy transition, with a focus on their overall strategy, recent initiatives, and the latest developments. Learn how the port have developed key partnerships from ports, government officials and shipping lines to collaborate and work towards the implementation of new energy alternatives.
Maurice will specifically discuss the ports focus on Hydrogen, and how the port have been able to accelerate its impact, by joining forces with a variety of partners including: Schiphol Airport, Tata Steel, Gasunie, Nobian, Vattenfall, Alliander, the Province of Noord-Holland, the Municipality of Amsterdam, the Municipality of Zaanstad, the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, ORAM and the agency for the North Sea Canal region.
Jan Egbertsen, Strategy & Innovation Manager at the Port of Amsterdam joins the key panel discussion ‘Smart operations & logistics - What’s next in Digitalisation, Automation, and Innovation to drive efficiency?’.
Jan will discuss how as strategy & innovation manager he is helping to drive the port towards a responsible energy transition including both digitalization and transport.
