To celebrate the 20th edition of GreenPort Congress, delegates will have the opportunity to pick between two unique tours of Malta’s ports and harbours.
End day 2 of Green Port congress with an exclusive boat tour of Valletta’s Grand Harbour; a chance to see Phase 1 of Malta’s OPS port electrification project firsthand. A progress milestone – more than 73 vessel connections achieved in a single year. Plus, a chance to gain insight into phase 2, including future cargo and RoPax vessel connections. This will be a rare chance to understand operational impact at scale.
Or join a coach trip to Port of Marsaxlokk on 17th October and travel to one of the Mediterranean’s busiest container terminals, guided by Malta Freeport Corporation. This will be an opportunity to explore the plans for Phase 1 construction and get an inside view of Phase 2 tender developments. For those with an interest in port expansion strategies, this is an essential site visit.
Both port tours start at 16:00 on their respective days.
