Moderated by Kerrie Forster, Chief Executive Officer at The Workboat Association, the panel discussion will provide real life case studies and firsthand knowledge, further highlighting the innovations required for shore power across the industry. The panle will discuss the balance between innovative shore power implementation and the potential blockers to success.

Speakers include:

The panel will also touch upon the potential barriers to success, where factors such as infrastructure and investment will both be deeply debated. Delegates will specifically hear from James Evans who discuss Portsmouth International Port’s new Sea Change project, which will see the design, build and operation of a ‘shore power’ system across the three busiest berths at the port. In addition to Geraint Evans, who will provide insight on the UKMPG members perspective, regarding the implementation of shore power, and how political, environmental and social element can impact decision making.
