Patrick raises landside game
Following a series of criticisms of the stevedoring industry, Australias Patrick Terminals claims that it now considers landside operations equally important to its oceanside obligations.
Recently, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission slammed the uncompetitive nature of the country’s stevedoring industry, while the New South Wales Government suggested stevedores will be required to improve landside activities. Patrick said it now has a new culture which makes for a dual focus on landside customers as well as its marine operations.
