Peru to unveil new port development plan
Perus Ministry of Transport is to shortly publish a new National Port Development Plan, which aims to modernise services and infrastructure to bring them up to levels necessary to allow the country to compete internationally.
The plan takes into account opinions expressed by businessmen, port unions and the Ministry of Defence.
It should also allow the creation of regional port authorities capable of developing new ports.
