Adam Dennett is Chair of the Digital Technology Group (DTG) at the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) and CEO of SpecTec, a UK-headquartered global maritime software company with over 40 years of heritage delivering intelligent asset management solutions to fleets worldwide. Before joining the maritime sector in 2024, Adam held senior executive roles in healthcare technology, leading national digital strategy and interoperability programmes. He serves on SMI’s Commercial Marine Group Council, is a trustee of North-West Blood Bikes, and holds a Global Executive MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School.
