Director, International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC)
Arnold de Bruijn is a naval architect from TU Delft and a seasoned professional in the dredging industry with over 20 years of experience. He started his career at Royal IHC, where he worked for 12 years in various technical and managerial roles. He has led complex projects and contributed to innovative solutions for dredging equipment. In 2016 he moved to Netherlands Maritime Technology, the Dutch association for shipyards and maritime equipment suppliers. There he was responsible for organizing the Public Affairs for the association, promoted members’ interests and contributed to sound legislation and policy development on National, European and International level. Since April 2025 he joined IADC as director and will be appointed Secretary General as per November.
