Business Development Manager and Marine Technical Advisor, OMC International
Captain Pearce commenced his sea career in 1979 and qualified as a Master Mariner in 1990, then in 1994 he started as pilot in Port Taranaki, New Zealand. In 2006 he became a risk assessor, safety auditor and is an expert witness on pilotage issues. In 2008 he joined OMC International as their Business Development Manager and Marine Technical Advisor. He is highly knowledgeable on ship motions, under-keel clearance and vessel squat and presents internationally. In March 2014, he was sworn in as a Younger Brother of Trinity House. In 2020 he was accepted as a Chartered Master Mariner.
