Ekaitz Lopez Amurrio is Chief Financial Officer and European Funds Coordinator at Bilbao Port.
He is member of the steering committee of the Port Authority of Bilbao and a representative in the energy and sustainability working groups of the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO).
Since its foundation in 2019, Ekaitz has supported the BilbaoPortlab project to build an open innovation ecosystem in the Port of Bilbao and he is deeply involved in developing BilbaoPort renewable community energy model and electrification project. He has recently been chair of the European Sustainability Shipping Forum task force on FuelEU update.
