A total of 10 companies have indicated an interest in bidding for the contract for the port of Cortés in Honduras.
Those made public are DP World, TCB, Bolloré, APM Terminals and HPH.
Investment in the container terminal to be built there is $550m.
Bids must be received by February 2013 and they will be looked at by the Public-Private Partnership Promotion Commission, with work expected to start in 2014.
Each of the companies is expected to present a distinct investment project.
