Grégory Brion, Director of Conti-Lines Group & Conti-Invest joins Coastlink line-up.

Well known in the international maritime world, ship-owner and operator Conti-Lines Group have expanded their core deep sea operations into short sea services and intermodal operations such as barge and train. Aware of the need for a modal shift they invested in new, green technology in the pursuit of sustainability. The purpose being not only to diversify company activities, but to improve port operations.

Grégory Brion will join the panel discussion in Session 2 at Coastlink, focussing on ‘Joining the dots: Connecting short sea with other modes’ where he will provide his insight on the importance of efficient and sustainable logistics and shipping networks.

Grégory started his career with Conti-Lines Group in July 2009 and was appointed Director in 2016. Holding the position of board director for the joint venture company Conti Carwil which focusses on running various short sea trades, Grégory also leads Conti-Invest - the Projects & Investment entity of the Group.

Under his leadership new activities have been developed to support a modal shift and sustainable company growth. These include Conti Barge Invest – a third maritime segment, in addition to deep sea and short sea, to complete Conti-Lines service offering to bulk and breakbulk clients - and Antwerp Railhouse, for warehousing and port operations.
