Michiel Vermeiren, Manager Maritime Business & Market Intelligence at the Port of Antwerp to open Coastlink.
We are delighted to announce that Michiel Vermeiren, Manager Maritime Business & Market Intelligence at Antwerp Port Authority will welcome delegates to the Coastlink 2022 conference, hosted by the Port of Antwerp.
Taking place on 11 & 12th May 2022, Coastlink will focus on Building Connectivity between short sea shipping and intermodal networks. Antwerp – Europe’s second largest seaport – is an ideal location for Coastlink to showcase all the latest developments and trends in the short sea feeder services sector.
Following a 10-year career within the Maersk Group, Michiel joined the Port of Antwerp in 2016. In 2018 he took up the position of Shipping Lines Manager, and in 2022 took on the responsibility for the Maritime Business & Market Intelligence department.
In this role he leads the commercial department focusing on the shipping lines, agents, bunker companies, and market intelligence.
Joining Michiel at Coastlink are expert speakers from shipping lines, operators, ports and terminal operators, logistics companies, as well as shipping and port associations.
