GreenPort Congress	World Ports Conference	Coastlink Conference

GreenPort Congress is a meeting place for the port community to discuss and learn the latest in sustainable environmental practice. It offers ways to reduce their carbon foot print and be more sensitive to environmental considerations, both of which are vital to future success.	The annual World Ports Conference brings together global port leaders and key stakeholders from the shipping sectors to explore the opportunities and challenges facing the maritime industry. This year’s #IAPH2026 will be held in London, UK, offering a programme of plenary, breakout and workshop sessions and a gala dinner celebrating the IAPH Sustainability Awards.	Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future.

Holcim Tilbury
Holcim UK’s Tilbury Cement Terminal has a new 9800m² storage facility. Based at the Port of Tilbury on the River Thames, UK, Holcim says it is “transforming how building materials are made, moved and delivered” through a focus on innovation, agility and environmental responsibility. The new unit measures 175m in length and is 56m wide, with a 15m eaves height and will be manufacturing and supplying a diverse range of products including low carbon and circular cementitious materials.

Karachi Deal
Karachi Gateway Terminal Multipurpose Limited (KGTML), part of Abu Dhabi Ports Group owned Noatum Ports, has signed a long-term commercial agreement with Louis Dreyfus Company Pakistan (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of global merchant and agricultural goods processor Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC), to develop and operate a modern clean bulk handling and storage facility for agricultural goods. It will help upgrade handling times and improve the resilience of Pakistan’s agricultural logistics network.

Landmark MOU
The Panama Canal and the US Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC) have signed an MOU to strengthen their collaboration through the enhancement of global trade with US agricultural products. The MOU will see collaboration on joint marketing initiatives and economic analysis, plus the sharing of trade and logistical data. The cooperation is also supporting increasing demand for US grains while simultaneously promoting the operational strengths of the Panama Canal. Around 25.1 million tonnes of grain traffic used the Panama Canal in FY 2025.

Solid Gdansk
The Free Trade Zone at the Port of Gdansk has two new modern warehouses to store organic fertiliser. The units belong to Solid Port, a major operator in the Inner Port area at the WOC (Free Trade Zone) Quay. On land leased from the port for 30 years, two steel-structured tent-type buildings have been erected, with 40m × 60m base dimensions and a ridge height of 14.5m. The walls and roofs are made of a durable PVC coating.
