Next-gen sensors power crane optimisation

The software intelligence company AMLab has secured two contracts at the Port of Rotterdam to deploy LiDAR sensor systems across 34 automated cranes, enhancing safety and performance.

AMLab will deliver advanced 3D LiDAR technology across a combined fleet of Automated Rail Mounted Gantry cranes, supporting port automation through improved positioning, real-time data and operational consistency.
